New Twists in French Manicure

Traditionally, a French manicure uses two colors of nail polish: one natural color for thr bed of the nails and a white color for the tips. However, since this style became popular in the mid to late 1970s, the French manicure has had a whole new twist to it.

The beds of the nails are no longer limited to a natural color.

And the tips do not have to mimic the color nor the shape of natural nail tips. This modern variation not only uses colors, it uses patterns and texture as well.

The French manicure is still one of the most popular choices today for both formal and everyday occasions. But why not add a little whimsy to it as well?
